Hawaii was one of those trips I didn't really see myself ever going on because as a kid it seemed like this far away dream destination that could never be reached by most people. I remember my dad telling me that we would be going to Hawaii and being really excited for all the photography opportunities... but I really didn't know what to expect.
This was taken on top of Diamond Head, on the 3rd day of the trip
Day 1: After the 10 hour flight from Austin to Hawaii we meet up with my brother, and was greeted with the Hawaii weather and scenery. We got a rental car and drove to our AirBnb, I don't have any pictures of the AirBnb we stayed at taken on my camera so I didn't add them but it was a 2 story house on the side of a mountain overlooking Honolulu. After we unpacked we went into the town that we were near and ate some ramen then after that we hungout in the AirBnb for a while then we got ready to go to a 5 star restaurant in Honolulu then called it a day after that.
Day 2: This day we woke up, ate breakfast and set off on a hike up a mountain called Diamond Head.
This is a picture I took of Diamond Head mountain.
Day 3: Today we visited the site of Pearl Harbor, we were there for about 3 hours (I think) we took a tour with a audio walk so we walked around a museum then went outside and looked at different land marks and structures that were there in memorial. After the tour we decided to get off the bus at a different part of where we got on the bus and explore the stores, the beach, and the restaurants that were in the area in search of food and a genuine Hawaiian snow cone!
Day 4: This was the last day that we spent in Hawaii
